Sep 30, 2020 (newstodate): The Lithuanian freight forwarding company Rava Cargo is working closely with Latvia's Riga Airport to promote the region's potentials for a stake in the e-trade logistics.
-Many Chinese e-trade companies and integrators are focusing on the big European markets, neglecting the potentials in the Baltic region, says Arturas Jurkevicius, Rava Cargo CEO.
-For us as a Lithuanian company it is only natural to cooperate with partners in the region, and we are now working closely with Riga Airport's dynamic cargo development team to provide a comprehensive logistics solution attracting more e-trade business from China and Asia via Riga Airport.
-Already now, the Russian carrier Atran is bringing in growing volumes of e-trade B2B and B2C shipments, and in a strong cooperation with Latvian Customs the ITI progam allows for fast customs handling of small e-trade parcels at Riga Airport. At the same time, our ITU program makes it easy to integrate with all parties in the process.
-We are also in good contact with the Ukrainian carrier operating at Riga Airport, Eleron, and basically we are all on friendly terms and cooperating to promote development at Riga Airport and in the region as a whole, says Mr Jurkevicius.
Rava Cargo has its HQs at Lithuania's Siauliai Airport but is now also present at Riga Airport with an own office to spur the business development in a cooperation with the airport.
