Sep 07, 2020 (newstodate): Finnair has announced the return of passenger services on the route between Helsinki and Nanjing, in China.
   Starting from September 11, 2020, the carrier will be offering a weekly rotation on the route with Airbus A350 aircraft.
   Earlier, the reopening of flights on the route was not expected before summer 2021, but the Chinese authorities have now permitted the flight to be resumed.
   The carrier will thus be offering flights to two destinations in China, Nanjing and Beijing, in September with one weekly rotation on each route.
   Nanjing is already a destination for scheduled all-cargo flights by the carrier.
    Finnair added Nanjing to its network from May 13, 2018, as its seventh destination in China.
