Sep 02, 2020 (newstodate): Month-on-month, cargo volumes showed cautious signs of recovery at Denmark's Billund Airport in August 2020.
   While volumes in July 2020 were thus down 25.7 percent, y-o-y,  the decline was "only" 17.2 percent in August 2020, totaling 5,490 tonnes.
   In August 2020, the airport thus handled 3,681 tonnes of export  shipments, down 20.2 percent, while import volumes fared comparatively better, down 10.3 percent to 1,809 tonnes.
   In the first eight months of 2020, the airport's total cargo volumes were 42,773 tonnes, still down 11.6 percent, y-o-y.
