Sep 04, 2020 (newstodate): The Belarus carrier Belavia has now - slightly delayed - taken delivery of the fifth and last aircraft in the contract with Danish regional aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital.
Under the aircraft lease contract signed in November 2018 with NAC, Belavia would take the first three aircraft, two E195 and one E175 by April 2019, while the remaining two aircraft were to follow in December 2019 and April 2020, respectively.
The airline's fleet now consists of 28 aircraft including nine Boeing 737-800, four Boeing 737-500, four Boeing 737-300, four Embraer-175, and seven Embraer-195 aircraft serving a route network connecting 56 airports in 30 countries in Europe and Asia.
