Sep 08, 2020 (newstodate): Helsinki Airport saw its total cargo volumes dipping further in August 2020.
   A total of 7,821 tonnes was handled at the airport in August, corresponding to only 39.4 percent of the volumes handled in August 2019, and almost exclusively consisting of international cargo totaling 7,796 tonnes and down 60.5 percent, y-o-y.
   August was thus the month worst hit in 2020 by the sustained crisis in the global trade and aviation business.
   During the first eight months of this year, Helsinki Airport has been handling 89,877 tonnes, down 39.3 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
