Sep 23, 2020 (newstodate): After a period of lockdown, commercial flights between Iran and Germany are soon to be resumed.
Starting from October 2, 2020, Iran Air will be back on the route between Tehran and Cologne with one weekly rotation, and flights to Frankfurt will commence from October 3, 2020, with two weekly rotations, while the resumption of flights between Tehran and Hamburg is still pending.
Lufthansa will follow suit by opening flights on the route between Frankfurt and Tehran from October 25, 2020, offering a daily rotation.
Germany is Iran Air's biggest market in Europe, with normally three destinations and six weekly flights.
