Aug 17, 2020 (newstodate): Wizz Air's decision to return flights from Latvia to Iceland later this year is good news for Iceland's Keflavik Airport.
Wizz Air was active on the route already from May 28, 2016, with seasonal flights, but due to the pandemic Wizz Air suspended flights from Latvia earlier this year.
Wizz Air currently operates flights from 10 destinations to Keflavik, including London, Vienna, Dortmund, Milan, Budapest and five destinations in Poland.
The carrier made its debut in the Icelandic market with flights from Gdansk, in Poland, from June 19, 2015.
