Aug 24, 2020 (newstodate): The Danish regional aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital has now delivered its second of a series of aircraft to new customer in Ukraine: Windrose Airlines.
   So far an all-jet aircraft operator, the carrier was commissioned in December 2019 by the State Aviation Administration to launch services on six domestic routes in Ukraine, creating a need for a suitable aircraft type to be added to the fleet.
   The carrier subsequently signed a LoI with Nordic Aviation Capital for lease of eight ATR 72-600 aircraft to be delivered in 2020-2022.
   Founded in 2003, Windrose Airlines received its AOC in 2007 and is now among the leading companies providing air traffic in Ukraine with a market share of 21 percent, according to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
