Aug 11, 2020 (newstodate): Hopes for Singapore Airlines soon to increase frequency on its passenger flight between Singapore and Scandinavia remain in the air for a few more months, at least.
According to the latest update of the interim schedule, the carrier will stick to offering only one weekly rotation on the route between Singapore and Copenhagen, at least till October/November 2020.
The carrier returned services on the route from June 20, 2020, with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
Until November 2019, Singapore Airlines offered five weekly rotations, planning to increase to daily services from January 2, 2020 - but all flights were then suspended from March 2020 as the pandemic struck.
Singapore Airlines is however serving the market for cargo between Copenhagen and Singapore with a weekly all-cargo flight between Copenhagen and Singapore since April 2, 2020, with Airbus A350-900 passenger aircraft carrying shipments in the belly cargo compartment.
