Aug 12, 2020 (newstodate): The Moldovan carrier Aerotranscargo seems to be planning to actively expand its business in the cargo market.
Taking effect from August 1, 2020, the company has named the UK-based company Air One Aviation as its exclusive GSA to provide sales and marketing in all markets.
As reported by newstodate on August 11, Aerotranscargo is also preparing to set up a subsidiary with two Boeing 747-400 freighters in Romania, to be named Fly Sky Romania, which will become an EU carrier as its obtains a Romanian AOC and operating license.
In the fleet of Aerotranscargo are now four Boeing 747-400 converted freighters, with ambitions to grow to five aircraft by September 2020.
With the latest revision of the EU Blacklist, all of Moldova's carriers, except for Air Moldova, Fly One and Aerotranscargo, are banned from the EU airspace.
