Aug 11, 2020 (newstodate): On August 5, the Latvian charter carrier and ACMI provider SmartLynx Airlines opened its new base in Pristina, Kosovo, with one Airbus A320 aircraft from the start.  
   Behind the opening of the base is a contract with Kosovo's virtual airline PrishtinaJET comprising the  allocation of two Airbus A320 aircraft for flights to Basel, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Munich from July 2020.  
   PrishtinaJET has been established by a group of investors from Kosovo's aviation, tourism and travel industries.
   Member of the Avia Solutions Group, SmartLynx Airlines  SmartLynx operates a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, including nine A321.
