Aug 17, 2020 (newstodate): One more BAe 146 aircraft earlier operated by the Swedish regional carrier BRA has found a new service life.
In the fleet of Braathens/BRA since 2016, the aircraft has been acquired by Air Libya in a deal arranged by Executive Jet Support.
The aircraft was under CAMO at Avionicare, Southend Airport, and has been ferried to Avalon Aero, Cranfield, where it will undergo maintenance and conversion to Air Libya livery.
In 2019, BRA decided to phase out its fleet of 10 jet aircraft, intensifying instead its use of 12 ATR aircraft currently in the fleet.
