Aug 25, 2020 (newstodate): Finnair is scaling back its flight frequencies on many routes in September as market demands remain slow in recovering.
In a Scandinavian context, Finnair will reduce frequency on flights from Helsinki to Copenhagen to nine weekly rotations from earlier 14, and Oslo will see only seven of 17 rotations in the earlier planning, while the two weekly flights to Bergen will be cancelled altogether.
By contrast, Stockholm will retain the 20 weekly rotations from Helsinki, while Gothenburg keeps its three weekly flights as well.
Flights to the Baltic destinations are also unchanged through September, with weekly flights from Helsinki to Riga staying at seven, to Tallinn at 21, and to Vilnius at six weekly rotations.
