Aug 06, 2020 (newstodate): During the first half of 2020, Finland's Helsinki Airport lost one-third of its cargo volumes, compared to last year.
A total of 72,166 tonnes of cargo was handled, a drop by 33.4 percent, y-o-y, including 69,684 tonnes of international cargo, down 32.7 percent, and 1,717 tonnes of international mail that was down no less than 56.6 percent.
Worst hit in H1/2020 was April where the total cargo handled dropped 59.3 percent, y-o-y, to a mere 7,522 tonnes.
