Aug 24, 2020 (newstodate): The Bosnian carrier Flybosnia enjoyed a brief career with scheduled services.
The carrier has now decommissioned its single own aircraft, an Airbus A319, and scrapped plans for adding two more Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
Instead, the carrier is focusing on the charter business, having landed a contract with a leading Bosnian tour operator, Fibula Air, for charter flights in 2021.
The airline now operates only one wet-leased Airbus A320 aircraft from the Lithuanian charter and AMCI carrier GetJet Airlines for charter flights to leisure destinations in Turkey.
The carrier performed its first commercial flights on September 24, 2019, established by the al-Shiddi Group, the largest Saudi investor in Bosnia and Herzegovina and operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006.
