Jul 03, 2020 (newstodate): SAS has now taken delivery of its fourth Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
   With this delivery, Airbus has completed the delivery of half of the order for eight aircraft.
   In October 2014, SAS firmed up its MoU signed in June 2013 with Airbus for eight Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with options for a further six aircraft.  
   According to the MoU, SAS would take delivery of its first of eight Airbus A350-900 aircraft in 2018, but the delivery scheme was adjusted in 2016 as a consequence of the airline's financial problems at the time.  
   With the new schedule, SAS took delivery of its first Airbus A350 with production number 358 in November 2019, followed by deliveries of the second and third aircraft by spring 2020, and the fourth aircraft by autumn/winter 2020.  
   The remaining four aircraft on firm orders will then be delivered in 2021.
