Jun 30, 2020 (newstodate): CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited has signed a lease agreement with SAS.
   Under the contract, CDB Aviation will place four Airbus aircraft, including three A320neos and one A350-900 with SAS, with deliveries slated between June 2020 and May 2022.
   -SAS has worked together with CDB Aviation on several sale-and-leaseback transactions, and we are pleased that we have managed to secure the financing for these four aircraft during this extraordinary market situation, says Torbjorn Wist, SAS Chief Financial Officer, in a comment to the deal.
   In the fleet of SAS are now 31 Airbus A320neo plus nine leased from SAS Airlines Ireland, while the fleet of Airbus A350-900 now totals three aircraft.
   In the order books are a further 40 Airbus A320neo and five Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
