Jun 24, 2020 (newstodate): While Norwegian still has loads of issues to be solved before finally landing in safe haven, the carrier is now again strongly back in business.
In July, Norwegian will perform a total of 758 weekly flights on routes out of Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen and Tromso, all operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
As of now, Oslo will be served with 630 weekly rotations to 46 destinations; Copenhagen will be served with 69 weekly rotations on 17 routes; Stockholm will see Norwegian operating 51 weekly rotations on 11 routes, while Tromso and Bergen will see Norwegian operating five and three weekly rotations on two routes each.
Till now operating only flights on domestic routes in Norway with eight aircraft, Norwegian is thus returning a further 12 Boeing 737-800 aircraft to commercial service with flights on 78 routes, of which most were until recently tentatively scheduled to be opened only in 2021.
