Jun 19, 2020 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group has again added new aircraft capacity to its ever-expanding portfolio of capabilities.
This time, the expansion comes via ASG's subsidiary acquired on June 14, 2019: Chapman Freeborn with its subsidiaries Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, Chapman Freeborn OBC, Intradco Cargo Services, Logik Logistics, Magma Aviation, and Wings 24.
Chapman Freeborn has thus now acquired the company Arcus Air Logistics and Arcus Air OBC from the Germany-based Arcus Air Group, managed by Francisco Mühlens as CEO.
Offering ad-hoc air cargo charter and on-board courier services primarily to the automotive and aerospace industries, Arcus Air Logistics provides cargo charter services with a fleet of two Dornier 228, seven Embraer Phenom 100 and other aircraft.
This latest acquisition brings significant synergies in the emergency cargo logistics segments where Chapman Freeborn has ambitious plans for future growth.
The Aviation Solutions Group's aircraft fleet already comprises the aircraft in Avia Solutions Group's sister companies SmartLynx with 23 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, Avion Express operating 21 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, KlasJet with six Boeing 737 aircraft, and Bluebird Nordic with six Boeing 737-300/400F aircraft.
In addition, the Group also manages the four Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft in the fleet of Magma Aviation, a Chapman Freeborn company and a family member of the Avia Solutions Group since October 2019.
