   Only 15 tonnes of salmon left Norway for the Chinese market, reflecting the abrupt embargo on salmon imports by the Chinese authorities.
   According to later reports, the suspicion over fresh salmon as the root cause of the renewed outbreak of Covid-19 in the Beijing area has since been revoked, but this does not show so far on the volumes listed.
   Until June 21, 2020, Norway has thus seen exports to China down 14.3 percent, y-o-y, to 9,901 tonnes.
   Overall, the total volume of Norwegian salmon exports to the world has declined 4.3 percent, to 386,908 tonnes.
