Jun 30, 2020 (newstodate): Never a dull moment in Greenland's airport business engaged in large-scale construction projects to create an entirely new infrastructure in the country.
Quite unexpectedly, the current CEO at Kalaallit Airports Holding A/S Peter Wistoft has announced his resignation with effect from September 30, 2020, after taking up the position only from February 2019.
Mr Wistoft was actually taking up the chair first on a temporary basis as his predecessor, Steffen Ulrich-Lynge, abruptly stepped down as Kalaallit Airports A/S CEO - a position he held from the start of Kalaallit Airports A/S in June 2016 to shoulder the task of planning and steering the projects, freezing an investment plan and seek investors.
As a temporary move, the company has decided to install Aviaaja Karlshoj Knudsen, Kalaallit Airports Executive President Projects, in the chair pending a later decision on a successor to Mr Wistoft.
