Jun 29, 2020 (newstodate): A well-known and respected figure in the Scandinavian air cargo industry since 1980, Peter Schwartz has channelled his logistics experience into humanitarian organizations including the Danish Red Cross.
As his latest assignment from May 2020, Mr Schwarz has been named Red Cross delegate for Nepal, currently waiting for the re-opening of Nepal, Kathmandu after the COVID-19 Tracker.
Prior to this, Mr Schwartz served as Airops ERU Bahamas, Airops delegate at Balikpapan, Borneo Indonesia, supporting the air bridge from Balikpapan to Palu, the epicenter for the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia, as well as Danish Red Cross Admin Officer at Lesbos, Greece.
In Denmark, Mr Schwartz served with Aer Lingus for almost 20 years, starting from June 1980, and was appointed Aer Lingus Station Manager at Copenhagen Airport from October 2995 till March 2000 when the airline pulled out of CPH.
