Jun 23, 2020 (newstodate): The Estonian government has decided to implement a new structure merging the authority over aviation, road and maritime transport into one unit.
Taking effect from January 1, 2021, the country's Civil Aviation Administration, the Road Administration and the Maritime Administration will thus become a single cross-sectoral authority.
The name of the coming new structure will be announced at a later stage, but hopes are that the new structure will result in a common service standard, e-service environment and communication channel across all modes of transportation.
