Jun 02, 2020 (newstodate): Commercial passenger flights between Denmark and Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland are now to be resumed after a long period of suspension.
Starting from June 15, 2020, Icelandair will be offering one daily flight between Keflavik and Copenhagen, and the Faeroe Islands' Atlantic Airways will be back from Vagar Airport to Copenhagen with four weekly flights, currently offering one weekly rotation only.
From the same date, Atlantic Airways will also be operating two weekly flights from Vagar Airport to Billund as well as three weekly flights to Keflavik Airport, on Iceland.
Also from June 15, 2020, Air Greenland will open up for Transatlantic flights, offering two weekly rotations between Kangerlussuaq and Copenhagen.
