Jun 11, 2020 (newstodate): Low demand in the market has forced Air Greenland to announce the cancellation of this year's seasonal services between Narsarsuaq, in southern Greenland, and Copenhagen.
Since 2011, the route has been operated on behalf of Air Greenland by the Danish carrier Jet Time that has thus lost a significant contract in 2020.
In combination with the limit for a maximum of 600 passengers per week between the two markets, the low demand has made the operation unsustainable.
Starting from June 16, 2020, the program comprised a total of 31 rotations with the last flight on September 3.
