May 18, 2020 (newstodate): The Danish freight and logistics company YOYO Global Freight is restructuring the in-house work division between its two Danish offices.
-Some misconception in the market may indicate that we are closing down our office in Copenhagen - which is absolutely not the case, says Kasper Andersen, Yoyo Global Freight CEO and, together with Launy S Kristensen, co-owner of the company.
-To rein in on costs during the current market situation, we are only moving the operational part of our Copenhagen office to our main office at Odense, retaining the Copenhagen office's sales and marketing unchanged serving our business segment primarily consisting of small and medium-size customers, says Mr Andersen.
Set up in Odense in 2009, YOYO Global Freight expanded into the Danish capital region through the acquisition in November 2018 of the airfreight specialist Trans-Air Denmark, thus increasing its coverage of the Danish market with both sea and airfreight capabilities.
YOYO Global Freight is also present in Norway with offices as Oslo and Stavanger, mainly serving the country's oil and gas industries.
