May 19, 2020 (newstodate): While struggling with effects from the ongoing pandemic, the Danish carrier DAT is announcing new flights from June 2020.
DAT will restart operations from June 2, 2020, on the inter-German route connecting Saarbrucken and Berlin with six weekly rotations using ATR42 aircraft.
DAT first entered this route following on the retreat by Luxair from January 1, 2020, offering three weekly rotations, but flights were suspended from March 13, 2020, due to the corona outbreak.
Starting from June 8, 2020, DAT is also to launch flights on the route between Aalborg and Copenhagen, filling a gap after the cancellation of the flights by Norwegian.
The route to Copenhagen will be served with three daily flights on weekdays, two flights on weekends, competing with both Great Dane Airlines and SAS.
