May 18, 2020 (newstodate): All-cargo flights from China to carry PPE shipments to the world will be granted improved access and easier permits by the CAAC.
Reported by Xinhua, CAAC has lifted restrictions on the operation of all-cargo flights at Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport, allowing all airlines to operate all-cargo flights at both airports.
CAAC is also to streamline route approval application processes for both domestic and international cargo flights, requiring airlines to only make a single application to obtain approval.
Statistics for April 2020 from CAAC show that Chinese and foreign airlines performed a weekly average of 1,574 regular all-cargo flights.
