Apr 28, 2020 (newstodate): Thai Airways is cautiously planning for the reopening of flight services to its Scandinavian destinations.
In March, Thai Airways announced a stop of all flights to Stockholm, Sweden, from April 1 till October 24, 2020.
Thai Airways also suspended all flights to Copenhagen from April 1 till "at least" May 31, 2020, and Thai Airways' services to Oslo, Norway, were suspended from April 1, 2020, with no date for return announced in the first place.
Now, a preliminary schedule foresees the services from next year's summer season, with flights to Stockholm with a daily rotation from March 28, 2021, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Thai Airways expects to offer daily Boeing 777-300ER flights to Copenhagen from March 28, 2021, while flights to Oslo will commence from the same date with five weekly rotations using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
So far, the planned schedule comprises only the services to be provided in the first part of the summer 2021 schedule, and Thai Airways may still decide to open up flights to Scandinavia already at some point in winter 2020/21.
