Apr 07, 2020 (newstodate): Operator and developer of a network of key airports in Sweden, Swedavia has now suspended all mission-critical tasks.  
   The company's operations will be scaled down to a minimum, based on the market situation. Meanwhile, a complete review of the company’s investment portfolio is being carried out, and no new investment decisions will be made until further notice.
   At the same time, Swedavia is immediately laying off 1,900 employees over the short term.
   Of special significance to the development of Swedavia's cargo business, Nathalie Herget, new Swedavia Cargo Development Manager succeeding Bas van Goch only since February 2020, is leaving the company with the effect that Swedavia is also putting its strong engagement in Air Cargo Sweden on hold till further notice.
