Apr 15, 2020 (newstodate): A second US airline has now also decided to cancel plans for seasonal flights to Iceland in summer 2020.
Since 2018, United Airlines has been operating flights between New York Newark and Keflavik Airport, and plans were to return to Iceland again from late June 2020 - but this will not be.
Earlier this month, American Airlines was also forced to change its program for scheduled flights to Iceland in 2020.
The carrier had planned to operate daily rotations using Boeing 757 aircraft on the route between Philadelphia and Keflavik.
