Apr 07, 2020 (newstodate): Another blow to the air traffic at Finland's Helsinki Airport is the pull-out by British Airways.
BA has decided to close down all flights between London Heathrow and Helsinki from the coming summer 2020 schedule as well as extending into at least the next winter 2020/21 schedule.
The services have been cancelled, not just suspended as is the case with a number of other routes where BA is resting during the current coronavirus situation.
Flights on the London-Helsinki route will be provided only by BA's oneworld partner airline, Finnair that normally operates up to five daily rotations.
