Apr 29, 2020 (newstodate): One airline surviving on coronavirus is China Southern Airlines.
Based at Guangzhou, the carrier is now operating 185 international flights per week carrying PPE and other medical equipment to destinations around the world.
Some 120 weekly flights are performed with freighters, while the remainder are all-cargo operations with passenger aircraft.
Up to April 23, 2020, China Southern Airlines had completed 255 all-cargo flights with passenger aircraft carrying 2,930 tonnes of cargo to more than 22 countries and regions of the world, according to Xinhua.
In the fleet of China Southern Airlines are now 620 aircraft including 14 freighters, with orders placed for another 218 aircraft including two Boeing 777F aircraft.
