Apr 03, 2020 (newstodate): The market has responded enthusiastically to news of a new cabin cargo kit for Airbus aircraft, developed by a Lithuanian company.
-We are practically overwhelmed by calls from nearly 150 companies showing interest in our new cargo kits launched only this week, and the first contracts are being closed, says Vilius Chodkevicius, Colibri Aero Business Development Manager.
Together with J&C Aerospace, Colibri Aero is offering operators of Airbus A320 Family aircraft an EASA-approved solution for cargo carriage in passenger cabins in the form of Cargo Seat Bags.
-We are now working hard to introduce a similar solution approved by EASA for cabin carriage of cargo on Boeing 737 Family aircraft, with product launch within the very near future, says Mr Chodkevicius.
Based at Vilnius, Lithuania, J&C Aerospace is the technical developer of the new product, with its sister company Colibri Aero serving as the sales and marketing agent.
