Apr 22, 2020 (newstodate): In contrast to Latvia and Lithuania, Estonia has not benefited from the current flow of ad-hoc cargo operations flying into Europe with PPE from China.
During the first three months of this year, Estonia's Tallinn Airport handled only 2,417 tonnes of cargo - a drop by 9.2 percent, compared to Q1 in 2019 that was already down 6.8 percent, y-o-y.
Export cargo volumes declined by 4.3 percent, y-o-y, in Q1/2020, and imports dropped 8.5 percent in January-March.
