Mar 03, 2020 (newstodate): The Swedish regional airport Vaxjo Smaaland Airport has scored a major success with the landing of a new airline operator in summer 2020.
   Pat of the Lufthansa Group, Eurowings has announced the opening of flights between Dusseldorf and Vaxjo starting from May 21, 2020, with two weekly rotations using Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft.
   Växjo Airport will thus grow its network to seven scheduled international destinations operated by carriers including KLM, Ryanair, and Wizz Air, as well as BRA that offers flights to Berlin, the airport's second German destination in summer 2020.
