Mar 11, 2020 (newstodate): The Swedish regional airline Braathens Regional Airways AB is determined to develop its marketing and sales capabilities.
The carrier has thus now contracted AVIAREPS to bolster its European sales and marketing strategy.
With immediate effect, AVIAREPS is responsible for Braathens Regional Airlines’ sales promotion and marketing in France, Germany, Estonia and Latvia.
Braathens Regional Airlines is expanding its international network with new services from Stockholm-Bromma Airport to Riga, Tallinn, and Kuressaare Airport on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia.
The airline will also operate flights from Lyon to Gothenburg. From Germany, flights from Berlin-Tegel to Gothenburg and Malmo will launch from the end of March, in addition to the existing connections from Berlin to Vaxjo.
In December 2019, Braathens Regional Airways took delivery of the first of a series of five new ATR 72-600 aircraft at the factory in Toulouse under a lease contract with Avation PLC, signed in September 2019, and to be completed already during this year's Q1.
Sweden's second-largest airline, BRA currently operates a fleet of 23 aircraft lifting some 2.2 mio passengers annually.
In August 2019, BRA contracted Skyworld for re-marketing of its fleet of eight Avro RJ100 and two Avro RJ85 aircraft, following its strategy to go for an all-turboprop aircraft fleet from the end of this year.
