Mar 03, 2020 (newstodate): The Swedish authorities are considering a suspension of Iran Air flights into Swedish airports.
Iran Air is today providing two weekly rotations on the route between Tehran and Stockholm as well as one weekly rotation between Tehran and Gothenburg, served with Airbus A330/A310 aircraft.
But now the Public Health Authority of Sweden has recommended to the country's Transport Agency that the flights by Iran Air be suspended due to fears of spread of coronavirus from Iran where a concrete and detailed monitoring of the virus spread may be less efficient.
