Mar 27, 2020 (newstodate): China's Civil Aviation Administration of China, CAAC, has issued new operating restrictions to Chinese and foreign airlines, limiting their operations on international routes to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
For the period starting March 29-April 30, 2020, Chinese airlines are only allowed to operate one route with only one weekly rotation to any specific country, and airlines registered outside China may also operate on only one route with one weekly frequency.
Besides, the passenger load factor on each flight may not exceed 75 percent.
As a result, Air China will perform only one weekly flight from Beijing to Stockholm and Copenhagen during the period, while both SAS and Finnair have already suspended all flights to the Chinese mainland until April 30, 2020.
