Mar 16, 2020 (newstodate): A new airline project in Moldova, HiSky seems to be a hoax and a fraud.
   In an announcement, the country's CAA has now stressed that the handling of HiSky's request for an AOC has been stalled, and is not to be activated as the said company has not presented the documents requested.
   The company has also been misleading the market by posing as an airline and opening bookings without any basis for the transactions, CAA says.
   Furthermore, the CAA also finds that HiSky has faked its identity by using the IATA code of another carrier, United Airways Bangladesh.
   To cap it off, HiSky has claimed to launch business with two Airbus A320 aircraft operated by its "partner", the Romanian airline Cobrex Trans Airline that is, however, only operating Boeing 737-300 aircraft and not allowed to operate on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
