Mar 09, 2020 (newstodate): The Kazakh carrier Air Astana is in the process of renewing its long-haul fleet.
The carrier has thus now taken delivery of its second Airbus A321LR on a lease contract with ALC, and by the end of this year's H1, the carrier will receive a further three aircraft, bringing the fleet to nine aircraft of this type.
The process of phasing out the ageing Boeing 757-200 aircraft is already advanced, with five units gone in 2019.
