Mar 16, 2020 (newstodate): Still manoeuvring behind veils, the planned airline venture WOW Air seems to be building up in preparation for launch of services.
   Late February 2020, WOW Air announced the appointment of Giuseppe Cataldo as Director of WOW Air Italy.
   WOW Air now claims that passenger and cargo operations will start at Rome and Sicily in "the very near future", backed by the team of "extraordinary aviation professionals".
   WOW Air has now also named Magnus Magnusson as Managing Director of WOW air Cargo Global.
   Mr Magnusson, to be based in Iceland, brings in years of experience in the industry, including 11 years as Bluebird Cargo Commercial Director January 2007-December 2017.
