Mar 10, 23020 (newstodate): The Estonian carrier Nyxair is introducing a new aircraft type to its fleet: SAAB 2000.
The company is currently recruiting cockpit crews for the aircraft type that will join the existing fleet of three SAAB 340 passenger aircraft, owned by the Finnish regional aircraft leasing company Alandia Air AB, as well as one SAAB 340 aircraft in cargo version.
While not yet confirmed, Nyxair seems to be in the process of acquiring two ex-Loganair SAAB 2000 aircraft that will be phased out and replaced by ATR aircraft.
Nyxair has been a ACMI provider to Loganair for UK domestic flights since July 2019.
Managed by Jaanus Ojamets as CEO, Nyxair obtained its AOC in March 2018 with one SAAB 340 aircraft in the fleet.
