Mar 12, 2020 (newstodate): The Danish provider of aviation spares and solutions Satair, based in Copenhagen, has landed a significant contract with S7 Technics, a leading independent maintenance, repair and overhaul services provider in Russia and the CIS territories.
The agreement covers the exclusive distribution of over 350 part numbers from a number of suppliers over a multi-year period, and constitutes the first of its kind between Satair and customers in Russia and the CIS region.
The new strategic partnership between the two companies will expand the scope of S7 Technics’ maintenance capabilities, increase the overall productivity, and allow the release of aircraft from maintenance checks more efficiently.
Founded in 1957 by a group of ex-SAS technical staff, Satair is now part of the Airbus Customer Services unit with more than 1,300 employees, operating from 10 locations worldwide.
