Mar 31, 2020 (newstodate): Danish airlines are eagerly waiting for the government to reveal its plans for supporting the country's air transport industry.
-We take one day at a time while we wait to see how the Danish state intends to support airlines like us, and not just SAS, as an integral part of the overall infrastructure, says Thomas Hugo Moller, Great Dane Airlines CEO.
-In our fleet are now three Embraer 195LR aircraft, with a fourth aircraft in our colours still awaiting delivery - which is not an urgency for us right now.
-We have performed a number of repatriation flights to bring Danish nationals back from various destinations, but this traffic has now almost come to an end, leaving only some distant destinations that are beyond the reach of our type of aircraft.
-So far, we have not performed all-cargo operations, but we would be fully capable of providing flights in this segment, even between Denmark and China that would be easily reached with only one en-route re-fuelling stop, says Mr Moller.
