Feb 25, 2020 (newstodate): Air traffic connecting Hungary and South Korea is set to grow in 2020.
Korean Air is to introduce scheduled passenger flights between Seoul and Budapest from May 23 and until October 17, 2020 with three weekly rotations, as earlier reported.
But already from February 21, 2020, Korean Air has launched scheduled cargo services between the two destinations, routed Seoul-Budapest-Frankfurt-Seoul with two weekly rotations using Boeing 777F aircraft.
In 2019, South Korea became the largest investor in Hungary with nearly half of the country's total foreign investment portfolio, while trade between the two markets also increased by one-third, y-o-y.
