Feb 07, 2020 (newstodate): Ethiopian Airlines has seen success with its route between Scandinavia and Addis Ababa and is now to increase frequency in summer 2020.
Starting from June 25, 2020, the carrier will offer daily flights on the route operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft to Sweden's Stockholm Airport, continuing to Oslo in Norway.
Ethiopian Airlines has been operating the route Addis Ababa-Stockholm since October 28, 2003, after moving its Scandinavian services to Sweden from Copenhagen Airport, Denmark.
The carrier next extended the route with a further leg between Stockholm and Oslo from March 27, 2017, adding more Norwegian passengers and - not least - cargo shipments of Norwegian seafood to feed the flight.
