Feb 27, 2020 (newstodate): Qatar Airways is a staunch provider of cargo capacity for Norway's exports of seafood from Oslo Airport.
Qatar Airways started serving Oslo Airport with Passenger flights on October 5, 2011, and from the coming summer schedule the carrier will be serving Oslo with 14 weekly rotations, each providing some 20 tonnes of cargo uplift capacity in the Norwegian seafood export market
On January 29, 2013, Qatar Airways Cargo launched its freighter service at Oslo with one weekly flight, adding a second frequency from July 6, 2013, a third from October 27, 2013, a fourth from October 1, 2014, and periodically adding more weekly services during peak seasons.
According to the latest information, Qatar Airways is now to operate five weekly freighters at Oslo Airport from today, thus adding one more Boeing 777F flight to the existing three Boeing 777FR and one Airbus A330-200F operations.
