Feb 07, 2020 (newstodate): A new airline is under formation: Aero Georgia.
   The carrier will be based on capital from a Georgian group headed by Aero Georgia Group Director Igor Aptsiauri in a partnership with a European investor, yet undisclosed.
   The certification process is due to start with the coming months, aiming at getting the carrier airborne in late summer 2020.
   Aero Georgia will be a passenger airline in the low-cost full service segment, aiming at the leisure market and to be based at Tbilisi Airport.
   The Aero Georgia Group comprises four business areas, Aero Consulting, Aero Travel, Aero GSA and Aero Pro Man.
   Aero Travel was recently appointed representative of the Chinese company Xiamen Tsingpu International Travel Agency in Caucasus region, planning to promote charter flights between South China and Georgia.
