Feb 04, 2020 (newstodate): Iceland has pinned high hopes on getting its first direct connection to China in summer 2020.
   Now, the outbreak and spread of the Coronavirus has put brakes at least on the issue on WHEN a launch of services may actually be seen.
   Juneyao Airlines planned to introduce twice-weekly flights in summer 2020 starting March and ending by October between Shanghai and Keflavik by an extension of the existing route between Shanghai and Helsinki, operated since June 28, 2019.
   Now the carrier has blocked for bookings on at least the first seven out of 30 planned rotations while still keeping the schedule unchanged.
